Open the app and ensure your phone is connected to your Beacon 1 network. Check Settings: Go to the Settings menu.

If an update is available, a notification banner usually appears on the home dashboard screen. Unplug the power adapter from all your Nokia Beacons, wait 30 seconds, and plug them back in. Once the network completely stabilizes, attempt the update again through the app.

: Do not press the reset button while an update is in progress, as this can permanently damage the hardware.
Nokia does not push updates to every Beacon 1 simultaneously. They release in waves (1% of users, then 5%, then 20%). Wait 1–2 weeks. The free update will arrive.
