Surah Kahf 6-10 Direct

Allah asks, "Or have you thought that the companions of the cave... were a wonder?" This rhetorical question realigns human perception. While a group of young men sleeping for 309 years is miraculous, it is minor compared to the everyday miracles of creation, such as the vastness of the universe, the rotation of night and day, and the creation of life from nothing. “Or have you thought that the companions of the cave and the inscription were, among Our signs, a wonder?”

The youths, or al-fityah , were forced to flee their homes and families for the sake of their faith. Facing an uncertain future in a dark cave, they did not panic or lose hope. Instead, they turned to their Lord with a beautiful and comprehensive supplication that contains two fundamental requests:

Arabic: إِذْ أَوَى الْفِتْيَةُ إِلَى الْكَهْفِ فَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا English: [Mention] when the youths retreated to the cave and said, "Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance." surah kahf 6-10

: The prayer in verse 10 is highly recommended for anyone facing a difficult decision or seeking a way out of a complex trial.
